In the year 2014, the vibrant city of Belgrade, Serbia, welcomed a new culinary gem to its dining scene – Druga Piazza. Conceived as a restaurant project by the renowned architect and designer Anja Ivana Milić from Arhi.pro, the establishment was brought to life for their client, Tamigo d.o.o., Belgrade. Spanning an area of 350 square meters, Druga Piazza is not just any ordinary restaurant; it is an ode to Italian cuisine and a celebration of unique flavors, primarily centered around the iconic wood-fired pizza.

The restaurant was founded on the very philosophy of another esteemed eatery, La Piazza, located in Vracar. However, Druga Piazza has its own distinct charm and character, setting it apart as a cherished culinary destination in Belgrade.

Situated in the heart of the city's most luxurious pedestrian zones, "Beton hala" or Concrete Hall, Druga Piazza enjoys an enviable location. The history of this area dates back to the 1930s when it served as a customs storage facility on the banks of the scenic river Sava. Over the years, this area underwent a remarkable transformation and evolved into a prestigious pedestrian zone, becoming a prominent gastronomic center.

What makes Druga Piazza particularly special is its commitment to showcasing the best of Italian cuisine. The restaurant prides itself on presenting authentic Italian recipes, and its pièce de résistance is the delectable pizza cooked to perfection in a traditional wood-fired oven.
